Analysis of Chemical Properties of Boron Carbide Nozzles
Boron carbide nozzles have many excellent properties, such as low density, high melting point, high temperature strength and strong neutron absorption capacity, etc., and they are one of the compounds with stable chemical properties. It has been widely used in many fields such as aviation, aerospace, automotive, machinery, electronics, chemical industry and nuclear industry. However, the extremely high hardness makes processing very difficult, which limits its development. The development of various new technologies for boron carbide processing has far-reaching significance for promoting the development of boron carbide's uselessness.
In the gel injection molding process of the boron carbide nozzle, adding a proper amount of dispersant can reduce the viscosity of the slurry and help to prepare a slurry with low viscosity and high solid content. Therefore, in order to increase the solid content of the slurry and reduce the viscosity, adding the dispersant CH-10S in the slurry has a significant effect. Figure 2 shows the effect of the dispersant CH-10S at different concentrations on the viscosity of the B4C slurry.
